Who would benefit? |
All users of Enrich |
What impact would it make? |
Today, it is only possible to unlink one entity at a time. Unlinking many entities is extremely time consuming |
How should it work? |
As a first step, under "Includes" and "Included in", include an option on each Linktype to unlink all currently connected entities. Other methods would greatly enhance this feature but would require other supporting modifications (e.g check boxes, enhanced queries). |
Why is it needed? |
There is no other method for portal users to unlink in bulk. |

Bulk unlinking has now been added so that you are able to remove all the relations for an entity link type in one go. See release notes: https://community.inriver.com/hc/en-us/articles/14934342965660-Release-notes-July-13th-July-14th-2024
It has now been implemented so that users working with linked entities in Enrich can remove all links for an entity link type in one operation from the Details card view. This enhancement improves efficiency by enabling the removal of irrelevant links between entities.
Note! Only a user with the permission "DeleteAllLinksForLinkType" can see the function "Remove all relations" in the context menu for each entity link type
I can also add that there is a possibility to add custom permissions named in the format "DeleteAllLinksForLinkType[LinkTypeId] that can be used to limit users to only be able to remove links for the specific linktype.
This functionality is available in both Enrich on the Includes / Included in tabs as well as in Plan & Release on the Content tab where you will find the option "Remove all relations" in the context menu for the Link type (if you have the necessary permission).
Additional documentation about this functionality will be added to the knowledge base on the community shortly. Unfortunately we are a little bit behind there.
If there are any other functionality related to unlinking that you are still missing, please create a new product idea describing this in as much detail as possible.
