We have different teams working on different product types. That means that we will typically have 5-10 of each type of workflow for different product types. It would be much easier to copy an existing workflow and make a few changes instead of having to build it from scratch every time |

I think having a button that would allow to 'duplicate' an already existing workflow would help a lot.
Then a user could adjust copied workflow to their needs.

A possiblity to create variants of a workflow would work very well to solve this challenge for us and make it easier, both for the workflow creator and the users.

Thank you for your contribution Katrine.
We are looking into how to speed up the creation of workflows.
Within this effort we investigating copies and copy variants of specific workflows based on attributes.
The highest item in that epic is to speed up creating of Workflow Conditions, but this comes shortly after.
What we have noticed is that certain attributes indicate how work is divided between teams.
For example, a Swedish team member works on a different set of the data then someone who speaks and works in France.
Therefore we would like to make it possible to create copies of a workflow based on this "splitting" attribute; language.
High Level User Journey:
As a Workflow Creator I want to create a variant of an existing workflow based on a CVL attribute, so that I can speed up the creation of my workflows and start using them quicker.
Prerequisite
Create a Workflow that is dedicated for the Swedish colleague
Workflow is ready and you, as a Workflow Creator, are happy with it.
New Copy Workflow Feature
Click on a 'Create workflow variant'
Decide what attribute (in this case language) to be the variating attribute in the workflow.
The system creates an exact copy but have replaced all instances of the 'SE' with 'FR' to ensure we get a French copy.
You as a Workflow Creator can then make some last changes and activate your workflow.
Two Workflows exist, one for French and one for Swedish team members.
Language here is an example, and that you as a workflow creator should be able to do this on any CVL attribute (e.g Market, Category. Language)
Please note that this is still an idea and not yet in a planned development milestone, but being considered for upcoming ones.
