Who would benefit? |
PIM users |
What impact would it make? |
If customers or different products with issues are located outside the PIM, this will allow mean finding the items in the PIM is a lot faster. For example, if I know a list of items that are missing an image but they were all very different, I would need to export all items missing an image and then cut the list down. Whereas if I could search via a list, I would only need to export the specific items - which is faster as the list will be shorter |
How should it work? |
As a data administrator I want to be able to search for a variety of item, product or resource codes so that I can have a specific list to manage or export Other PIM systems allow for a list to be put in using a specific field - either a system id or the code. If there was a search called "Search by list" and then the user adds: P00001 P00002 P00003 if it was codes or: 2435 23578 743 if it was system ids |
Why is it needed? |
Speed up locating entities in the PIM - primarily items and reduce export times |
