Security and prevention of business-critical jobs from being cancelled inadvertently. |
We recently had an unknown user cancel a rebuild channel job that was in progress. These rebuilds take some time to run so this can be very costly depending on where the rebuild is in the process. Following this incident, we noticed that ALL users have visibility to the channel rebuild job as well as the ability/permissions to cancel jobs. There needs to be a better way to restrict this.
