It would be very nice to have a "running" bool added to see if something is already running.

    Not sure if this is what you're looking for, but there's a new endpoint to know if a scheduled extension is running:

    https://apieuw.productmarketingcloud.com/api/v1.0.0/extensions/YourExtension:isrunning
