Mass update item and product simultaneously

It could save a lot of time if it was possible to 'mass update' items and products in one go.
Like exports, where you can choose which item fields and product fields you want to export, it could be a neat feature if this was possible when mass updating as well :)

For instance:
I have x amount of items where I want to mass update item field 1, 2 and 3 and field a, b and c on their relating product.
