Who would benefit? |
Customers and partners that require queries for more complex selections than link rules. |
What impact would it make? |
How entities are linked to channel nodes in an environment using segments. |
How should it work? |
The server setting DISABLE_CONTENT_SEGMENTATION_FOR_NODES currently supports channel nodes agnostic of segments when using link rule criteria (list of rules). The same behavior is expected for link rules based on queries, which is currently not supported by inriver. |
Why is it needed? |
This makes the system's behavior more reliable for link rules in channels. |
Additional feedback, background or context:
Original idea, which resulted into a server setting DISABLE_CONTENT_SEGMENTATION_FOR_NODES working on link rule criteria:

Next is to also implement this behaviour for queries.
