Doing it in Table View instead of exporting to Excel saves a lot of time and integrates well with the rest of the Table View capabilities. |
How should it work? |
As "Custom sort" in Excel. Add multiple search levels: First seach on column "X" (asc or desc), secondly on column "Y" (asc or desc), thirdly on column "Z" etc... A popup could handle this, the button for it can appear above the table besides "Clear all filters" and "Read only". |
Why is it needed? |
Entities often have several grouping attributes or facets and with this feature you can easily structure and analyze the data. The same need you experience when you use Excel to analyze data. |
