Fieldsets to exist within a Taxonomy

I was given a demonstration of another PIM recently. I was impressed by a "Taxonomy" concept. It helps group related fieldsets into a tree structure and assign fields at any level of the tree.

Consider that you have 3 classes of lights (A,B,C), they all have the same core fields but each of the 3 some specialist fields

Presently you create and manage fieldsets completely independently of each other. If you want to add a field into the core fields you need to change each one.

If they were in taxonomy tree it would be possible to add the field to the root of the tree and A,B,C would all receive that field.

That sounds simplistic but our model has 60+ fieldsets and I can see how advantageous this approach would be.#
