increasing Locales supported

inriver has a selected set of Locale codes which are supported. In prior versions there was a list of them and you could select the ones you needed. Now with iPMC we are required to know the codes which are supported. I believe it is still the same list.

Microsoft .NET supports significantly more combinations provided that the 2 digit code for the language and 2-digit code for the country are both standard codes. This allows for example to add a locale of "en-FR" for "English in France".

We have proven out that with the API we can effectively submit a new Locale of "en-FR" and have done this and it works without issue. We have done this with many language-country combinations.

The request we have now is that we would like additional attributes to be supported so that we can send the friendly names for them. As you can see in the attached images, these newly added Locales show up as "unknown (unknown) en-FR".
