Channel structure from the PIM should act as filters when creating in Brand Store like they do in Content Store. Some clients don't widely utilize CVLs and don’t have any that could be used to create effective filters and facets. We would like to see string fields be allowed to be used for filters and facets as a plan b, if using channel nodes wasn’t an option. |

Also for our company it would be a benefit to expand the channel with a structure build in the Nodes.
We are using Fieldsets on a second level in our hierarchy. If the user could select this level (supported by Nodes) the filtering underneath could follow the applicable fields coming form these Fieldsets, and work much more efficient and intuitive.
