Who would benefit? |
Multi-environment users |
What impact would it make? |
Large visual and data |
How should it work? |
Be able to change the colour of the environments independently from each other. It is impossible to tell the difference between production and test as they have the same colour scheme and therefore its hard to know if I'm working in the correct one. To be able to have something like a colour banner at the top of the environment would mean that it would be really easy to know which one is being worked in. See attached |
Why is it needed? |
No distinguishable difference between environments. For some, the data may be different enough to tell the difference but we recently updated test to be the same as production and therefore it is almost impossible to tell the difference. I think also the user shouldn't have to be checking data to know where they are working. It should be visually apparent anywhere in the environment that is being worked in |
