Channelnodes affected by channelfilters should be greyed out in channel structure in Plan & release

Please, fill in the below fields to enable the processing of your idea.

Who would benefit?

All users with channelfilter on channelnode

What impact would it make?

Better UX, Better overview on channelnodes affected by channelnodes.

How should it work?

Currently if you set a channelfilter on a channelnode to prevent it from being shown on web, the channelnode is also hidden (not visible) in the web structure in Plan & release. It could be a channelnode for a campaign which the customer wants to work on in the webportal but not have online / on web while it is in progress.

The hidden channelnodes can be queried in the webportal. However, we have experienced that the customers are likely to think the channelnodes are removed /gone when they do not see them in the web structure in Plan & release.

Idea / wish - could the channelnodes affected by a channelfilter remain in the channel structure in Plan & release but be greyed out like the products are when they are affected by channelfilters?

This way the customers retain the overview of the channel and channelnodes vs Channelfilter settings.

Why is it needed?

Better workflow and process in inriver Plan & release. The customers will not think channelnodes are removed.

I completely agree. This should be consistent with how ChannelFilters work with Products/Resources/Items etc. They're visible - but greyed out - in the webportal.
