Regex for LocaleString

Dear,

After reading the topic and seeing more comments on the regex / character limitation for the localestring, it might be worth to have this as standard. We can already apply a regex setting, it just won't work. Maybe enable this to work? Not sure on the impact.

It might also encourage translation agencies to work more into certain limitations.
