Selective Image Cache Regeneration

We have observed a few cases where the cached content is zero length (several reasons are possible). Manually we have found that re-uploading the original file casues replacement cached resources to be sucessfully generated.

We have over 70000 Resources and 9 image configurations. And it would take forever to regenerate them all.

Rather than clear the cache per configuration can we selectively do this per Resource?
